18 Aug 2017 Uganda Famine Relief
On June 1, 2017 International Children’s Day, generous donors gave a meal for every visit to V2V Project’s new website, to raise awareness about the famine. In 24 hours, there were 2300 unique visitors from around the world.
The “Click For A Meal” campaign provided 2300 meals for hungry children, families, and the vulnerable elderly in Serere, Uganda. We are so thankful to everyone who helped us in bringing hope to desperate people!

Two crop failures have left eastern Uganda in a state of crisis.
Two consecutive harvests were lost. There is no food.

Many children only have mangoes to eat for days on end.

Thanks to your generosity and efforts from around the world, two weeks of
food was purchased for more than 1,000 people!

The vast majority of the children in the Village2Village Project program have lost one or both parents due to AIDS, violence or abandonment.
