Laurie Kroll has over 35 years of experience in the field of human services, much of it working on children’s issues. Providing hopeful solutions for children in crisis situations has always been her passion, whether she worked with Vermont’s children in foster care, Vietnam’s children in orphanages, international students visiting the US, or Uganda’s parentless children. She lives with her family in Fishers, Indiana.
Katie Greiwe has worked for over 25 years in business management and operations. Katie is passionate about education and providing meaningful opportunities in developing countries. She is also a V2V Sponsor for an HIV+ student. Katie lived in Istanbul, Turkey for 3 1/2 years with her husband and three daughters, assisting in the launch of a fair trade business serving rural women through micro business. She also owned a private music studio teaching violin and piano lessons for over 10 years. Katie currently lives in Indianapolis, IN with her family.
Hired in 2003 as Village2Village Project’s first caseworker, Michael has been with the organization since the beginning. A few years later, he stepped down to grow his many business ventures and serve his community through elective office, and soon joined the board. He has been part of the Ugandan board’s management team since 2012, and became Director of Operations in 2017, overseeing the staff team in Serere.
